The Boise City Attorney's Office has opportunities for both trial-experienced, and newly admitted attorneys and provides a mentoring program for all new attorneys, which is designed for them to experience all aspects of the office and understand the duties and functions they will provide on a day-to-day basis. In addition to our formal mentoring program, we encourage all of our more experienced staff to mentor the newer employees so that the talents of all can efficiently serve our clients and customers.

Our office is unique in that we have established cross-functional divisions that not only cover criminal court calendars, but also provide civil legal services to several internal City customers. This diversity in assignments has allowed us to retain our employees for longer periods of time.
